Varsha short film festival

“Varsha” short film festival was held on the 27th of November 2018 during the International Conference on Water Security through Rainwater Harvesting. The chief guest of the occasion was internationally renowned film Directress Mrs. Sumithra Peries. The short film festival featured the top three short films selected from the short film competition which commenced in February 2018, which had around 58 entries. The short films were; “Hope through a Hole” By Eranga Gunasinghe “H2 O” by Fathima Shanaz “Money and Water” by Rahula Jayasekara Out of which the short film “H2 O” won the competition. The short films not only met the quality expected from them but also was successful in bringing out the message elegantly.
