Clean Drinking Water through RWH to B/Keselpotha Yaya 11 Maha Vidyalaye

A ceremony to mark World Water Day was held in B/Keslpotha Yaya 11 Maha Vidyalaya on Tuesday the 21st March 2017. A 30,000L RWHS and Bio filter was handed over to the school. A Mahogani tree was also planted by the chief guest Ms. Alena Tansey, Deputy Director, Office of Governance and Vulnerable Populations, USAID. Two dramas were staged and a speech was delivered on the theme of “Importance of RWH” by the students of Keselpothayaya 11 M.V and B/Sujatha Vidyalaya (winner of 2015 Drama Competition by LRWHF). Mr. D M, Peremarathna Zonal Director of Zonal Education office, Mahiyangana, Chief Adikaran Sanganayake Uva & Binthanna and Chief Incumbent of Rabapura Rajamaha Viharaya Venroble Kalugolla Rathana Jothi, Ms. Rehana Cuttilan, Project Management Specialist, Office of Governance and Vulnerable Populations , USAID/Sri Lanka, officers of LRFWHF, students, teachers and parents of Keselpotha yaya 11 School participated.
