The Lanka Rainwater Harvesting Forum (LRWHF) was founded by a dedicated group of individuals who recognized the immense benefits of rainwater harvesting for domestic use in Sri Lanka. Over time, this vision has grown into a national initiative, and today, LRWHF is at the forefront of promoting rainwater harvesting as a sustainable water management stratergy. Our members have been instrumental in this progress, serving as the foundation of the Forum’s success and growth.

Despite this diversity, our members are united by their shared commitment to advancing rainwater harvesting practices in Sri Lanka. Whether you are an expert in the field or a newcomer passionate about sustainable water use, LRWHF provides an inclusive platform for you to make a meaningful contribution.

Types of Membership

LRWHF offers two primary categories of membership:

  1. Individual Membership: Available to individuals who wish to support and actively contribute to the promotion of rainwater harvesting.
  2. Organizational Membership: Available to institutions and organizations that are aligned with our mission and wish to collaborate on initiatives to further sustainable water practices.

Application Process

Becoming a member of LRWHF is a simple process. Prospective members are required to submit an application ( Google form) which will be carefully reviewed by the Board of Directors. Upon approval, you will be welcomed as a valued member of the LRWHF community, committed to advancing rainwater harvesting in Sri Lanka.

 

Membership Fees

To support the activities and initiatives of LRWHF, an annual membership fee of 100 LKR is required. This fee grants access to exclusive resources, including the Rain Centre in Pelawatte. Payments can be made at the Annual General Meeting or through bank transfer.
